Chamberlin House offers a wonderful facility to our community for functions such as wedding and baby showers, business and sales meetings, office retreats and socials.
Built in 1880, Chamberlin House is a fine example of late Victorian architecture. The house has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. The building and its furnishings were given to the Woman's Club by one of its first members, Nellie Chamberlin, in January of 1919. Since that time the house has been cared for with loving attention by the members of the club.
Come enjoy the fine stained glass window in the foyer shining above the tiled fireplace. The parlor and dining room exude a warm ambiance. The classic architecture, Oriental rugs, Victorian furniture and gorgeous foyer with carved staircase make you feel as though you have gone back in time.
We invite you to experience the warmth of this home, which boasts a large first floor that can be used for gatherings of up to 100 people. A reasonable rental fee helps maintain the house and further the goals of the Woman's Club.
The rental fee for the house is $25/hour with a minimum of four hours charged. The fee for Woman's Club members and non-profit organizations is $20/hour with no minimum.
