This Members-Only section of the website contains a member directory, information about club meetings and programs for the coming year, and details about each club committee.

Once all current members have registered, the member directory will have a complete listing of members and their contact information, as well as information about each member's professional and volunteer affiliations and skill and interest areas. This will be a tremendous resource that will enable club members to share their expertise with each other.

We are currently in the process of re-establishing how we communicate with members. A quarterly newsletter was instituted in September 2007. It is e-mailed to all members who are able to receive it in that format and sent via snail mail to the others. Periodic e-mail announcements are sent to all members about events and volunteer opportunities of interest.

A club yearbook, containing a member directory, the club constitution and bylaws and a schedule of club programs, has been published annually. We are in the process of re-evaluating whether or not to publish it in the future, since all of the information it contains will be on the website.

The annual meeting is held in April. Officers and committee chairs are elected at that time. In May the new Program Committee meets to begin setting up programs for the coming year.

Traditionally, club meetings have been held September through May. The format includes a short business meeting followed by a program in one of six topic areas: The Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, Public Affairs and International Affairs.

Through its members and their interests, the club helps women find volunteer opportunities that will enable them to improve the community. This effort requires the interest of one to bring many to a project, and members continually suggest new local programs and opportunities for consideration.

A great way to meet other club members and new friends is to attend our First Friday social gatherings. Hosted by the Social Committee on the first Friday of each month, these gatherings are held at Chamberlin House from 5:30-7:30 p.m and are open to all current members and their friends. New members are strongly encouraged to attend and prospective members are always welcome.
